Job summary

AMETEK Process Instruments is seeking a Testing Technician to perform day-to-day calibration and troubleshooting of instruments, prioritizing work from open sales orders and production schedules. You will document results and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues that arise.

The role emphasizes process ownership for instrument calibration, collaboration with Manufacturing and Sustaining Engineering, and cross-training responsibilities to support the production line.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment with calibration experience.
• Ability to read and follow assembly and test procedures.
• Must have effective cross-functional communications skills.
• Familiarity with yield and parametric data collection and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and troubleshoot instruments to support production flow.
• Manage workflow for two products per production schedule.
• Cross-train additional technician resources as required.
• Process ownership for instrument calibration and quality output results.
• Provide timely feedback to Manufacturing and Sustaining Engineering for analysis and trend identification.
