Job summary

Ovation Holdings, Inc. Automation Service is seeking an Instrument Calibration Technician to run advanced diagnostic testing on Fisher control valve assemblies before shipment.

You’ll use Profiler Advanced Control Valve Diagnostics software to test performance, tune positioners, and document every assembly. You’ll collaborate with the Valve Shop, Tech Shop and Inspection teams to ensure every valve meets our quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with control valves, actuators or positioners preferred.
• Ability to read and apply technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; safe, quality-focused work.

Responsibilities

• Connect and configure diagnostic equipment on valve assemblies.
• Run tests with Profiler Advanced Control Valve Diagnostics software.
• Analyze graphs and data to identify performance issues.
• Prepare Profiler reports for each valve assembly.
• Support inspection by applying quality criteria to parts.
