OSF HealthCare is seeking an Instrument Technician-Surgery to coordinate instrument needs between the OR, Case Carts, and Sterile Processing. The role requires proficiency in cleaning, sterilizing, and inspecting instruments and handling Immediate Use Sterilization and Biologic Indicator testing as needed.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. The position is hourly, with pay between $18.80 and $22.12 per hour, and compensation based on experience.

The instrument technician-Surgery will be responsible for detailed knowledge of the inter-departmental needs between OR, Case Carts, and the Sterile Processing Department. They will coordinate/communicate daily instrument needs with OR mission partners and team leaders. Must be competent in proper cleaning, sterilizing and inspecting of instrumentation. Must be proficient and responsible for all aspects of the Immediate Use Sterilization process, as well and handling Biologic Indicator testing as needed.
