Expected pay for this position is $18.80 - $22.12/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY: The instrument technician will be responsible for detailed knowledge of the inter-departmental needs. They will coordinate/communicate daily instrument needs with mission partners and team leaders. Must be competent in proper cleaning, sterilizing and inspecting of instrumentation. Must be proficient and responsible for all aspects of the Immediate Use Sterilization process, as well and handling Biologic Indicator testing as needed.
Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience.
2 years Sterile Processing experience.
Licensure/Certifications: Certification in sterile processing at the technician level or higher from an accredited organization Excellent communication skills Excellent prioritization/organization skills.
Basic knowledge reading computer printouts and working from task list.
