Under the direction of the Surgical Services Leadership Team, this position coordinates decontamination and sterile processing of all instrumentation and non‑sterile supplies in the operating room setting. The role works with other operating room personnel in a team‑focused, efficient manner to accomplish the responsibilities of the decontamination/sterile processing area. The individual will be responsible for the care and maintenance of all instrumentation and will practice effective customer service by demonstrating an attitude of service and responsiveness toward co‑workers, physicians, and vendors, acting in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality of information.
