Job summary

Alamar Biosciences, Inc. is seeking an Engineer I, Instrument Support to sustain and improve the ARGO platform at our Fremont HQ.

You will troubleshoot, repair, qualify, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on internal ARGO systems and sub-modules, while developing SOPs for manufacturing and maintenance. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure instrument reliability, respond to internal users, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the ARGO refurbishment process, including troubleshooting, repair, and quality control testing of components and sub-modules.
• Perform quality inspections and testing of spare sub-modules and manufacturer-repaired components.
• Perform instrument troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and upgrades for the ARGO platform at Alamar headquarters in Fremont.
• Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs for ARGO manufacturing, qualification, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Address internal user requests and document activities in the issue-tracking system.
• Provide engineering support to the field service team for troubleshooting and repairs.
