Alamar Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Southern California based Field Service Engineer II to support its ARGO platform for high-precision proteomic analysis.

This customer-facing role delivers remote and on-site service while building trust with customers across Southern California and the Western region. The position offers opportunities to contribute to field service maturity, collaborate with Service Development, Engineering, and R&D, and provide Voice of Customer feedback for product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical, scientific, engineering, or life science field.
• Typically 2+ years of field-based service experience in biotech, life science, diagnostics, or related instrumentation.
• Demonstrated on-site troubleshooting, installation, and customer support with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and perform field actions on ARGO platform at customer sites.
• Provide remote and on-site support across Southern California and the Western U.S.
• Troubleshoot instrument and workflow issues with clear plans and next steps.
• Document service activities, parts usage, and commitments in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Service Development, Engineering, and R&D teams to deliver solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior field team members for FSE II responsibilities.
