Job summary

Koch Fertilizer Enid, LLC is seeking an Instrument Engineer to provide technical expertise and project support for instrumentation and electrical systems across the facility. You will help enhance reliability, safety, operability and plant performance while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability and Construction teams.

The role follows a 9/80 schedule with up to 20% travel. You will develop scopes of work, manage outages, and guide projects from scoping through commissioning,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or 2+ years of instrumentation/controls/automation experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with instrumentation, process controls, DCS, PLC, SIS, or related automation systems.
• Experience supporting plant outages or turnaround events.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and funding requests for instrumentation and electrical projects.
• Provide engineering support for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of instrumentation and control systems.
• Plan and coordinate projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and documentation.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment reliability and performance opportunities.
• Support planned outages and turnaround activities through project planning and execution support.
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation-related issues that impact plant operations.
• Learn and work with engineering and planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Maximo, and other site systems.
• Develop a working knowledge of applicable industry standards, quality requirements, and engineering best practices.
