Koch Fertilizer invites students to apply for a 2027 Summer Instrumentation Technician Intern role in Enid, Oklahoma. This 12-week program, running from late May to mid-August 2027, offers hands-on experience with equipment reliability, maintenance, and plant operations under supervision.

You will assist with installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and documentation of instrumentation, loop drawings, and P&IDs, while developing practical skills in instrumentation and process control systems.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate in instrumentation or a related program.
Eligible for full-time employment before or by May 2028.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Shadow instrumentation technicians to learn equipment reliability and maintenance.
Assist with installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of process instrumentation and control devices.
Participate in planning meetings and support scheduled maintenance and work orders.
Document maintenance activities and update equipment records.
Interpret technical docs including loop drawings and P&IDs.
Support commissioning, testing, and reliability initiatives in instrumentation systems.
