Job summary

Koch Fertilizer Enid, LLC is seeking an Instrument Engineer to support instrumentation and electrical systems across the facility. You will drive project scopes, cost estimates, and execution from design to commissioning, partnering with Operations and Maintenance to improve reliability and performance.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 2+ years of experience in instrumentation, controls, electrical systems or process automation in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and funding requests for instrumentation and electrical projects.
• Provide engineering support for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of instrumentation and control systems.
• Coordinate projects from design through commissioning, startup, and documentation.
• Support planned outages and turnarounds with planning, scope development, and execution support.
• Learn and use tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera, Maximo and other site systems.
• Build knowledge of industry standards, quality requirements, and engineering best practices.
