Job summary

Rwdy-Inc is seeking an Instrument and Electrical Technician III to install and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in Midland. The role involves testing, troubleshooting, planning repairs, and documenting issues and actions taken.

The technician will plan work per safety regulations, coordinate with operations and engineering, and follow established procedures. Strong safety, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and technical certifications required.
• Experience maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in a processing plant or offshore production plant.
• Familiarity with oil and gas facility regulations and OIMS procedures; ability to meet the position’s training and competency requirements.
• Strong safety practices, troubleshooting, communication, organization, reporting, and computing skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee work in accordance with applicable laws, standards, specifications, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and projects; review electrical and control specifications and work practices.
• Follow the Permit to Work System and Work Management Manual. Complete scheduled maintenance and help prioritize work.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems and provide technical support to other technicians.
• Prepare Management of Change requests and follow up with installation inspections consistent with OIMS Element 3.
• Inspect new installations, recommend upgrades, share technical updates with the team, and stand in for the Instrument and Electrical Lead when needed.

Scope
