Job summary

Rwdy, Inc. is seeking an Instrument and Electrical Technician II in Midland, TX to install and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment used in production operations at Midland HWY 80.

You will test and repair systems, evaluate issues, plan repairs, document problems and corrective actions, and coordinate with operations, engineering and projects teams while following safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; related technical coursework.
• Experience maintaining electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls in a processing plant or offshore production plant.
• Familiarity with oil and gas facility regulations, OIMS procedures, and applicable safety and training requirements.
• Computing skills, clear communication, organized reporting, attention to detail, and strong troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment in production operations.

Scope

Install and maintain electrical and instrument equipment used in production operations. Test and repair electrical and instrumentation systems, evaluate issues, plan repairs, and document problems and corrective actions.

• Perform work in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, specifications, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and projects teams; provide input on control specifications and work practices.
• Maintain electrical and control systems under the Work Management Manual and follow the Permit to Work System.
• Complete scheduled maintenance work safely, to standard, and on time. Help prioritize work and provide troubleshooting support to other technicians.
• Prepare Management of Change requests for electrical and control equipment and inspect installations in accordance with OIMS requirements.
• Monitor new installations, recommend upgrades, share technical updates with the team, and stand in for the Instrument and Electrical Lead as needed.

Skills and Qualifications
