Job summary

RWDY Inc. Midland facility is seeking an Instrument and Electrical Technician II to install and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems used in production operations.

You will test and repair equipment, evaluate issues, plan repairs, and document problems and corrective actions with clarity and thoroughness. Coordinate with operations, engineering, and projects teams; provide input on control specifications and work practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in a related technical field.
• Experience maintaining electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls in a processing plant or offshore production setting.
• Familiarity with oil and gas facility regulations, OIMS procedures, and safety training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, specifications, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and projects teams; provide input on control specifications and work practices.
• Maintain electrical and control systems under the Work Management Manual and follow the Permit to Work System.
• Complete scheduled maintenance work safely, to standard, and on time. Help prioritize work and provide troubleshooting support to other technicians.
• Prepare Management of Change requests for electrical and control equipment and inspect installations in accordance with OIMS requirements.
• Monitor new installations, recommend upgrades, share technical updates with the team, and stand in for the Instrument and Electrical Lead as needed.

Scope
