Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is seeking a dedicated faculty member to deliver approved curriculum and engage students through innovative instructional methods. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering high-quality instruction, managing student records, and participating in recruitment events.
Candidates should possess an Associate degree in a relevant field and verifiable work experience as a Wind technician. The role requires integration of technology in teaching and a commitment to TSTC's core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity.
TSTC faculty deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment. Responsibilities include facilitation of activities and discussions that engage a range of learning styles with targeted guidance and mentorship to students.
Faculty will also interpret and administer assessments, and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes. A key part of the role is to integrate technology effectively to enrich the educational experiences.
Faculty act as ambassadors for their programs and TSTC. They will demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and members of the community.
Required: Associate degree in a closely related field and demonstrated qualifications in the technology’s teaching discipline. Verifiable professional experience may be accepted in lieu of other requirements as approved by the Vice Chancellor who oversees academic programs, or his/her designee.*
