Job summary

University of Wisconsin - La Crosse is maintaining a lecturer pool for the College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses across multiple delivery modes (face-to-face, hybrid, online). Instructors maintain currency in content areas, evaluate student work, and provide regular feedback while holding office hours.

Roles may include advising students and providing other department service.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a field related to the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate.
• Baccalaureate plus experience or certification/licensure in rare cases may qualify.
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses and maintain currency in the content area.
• Evaluate students’ work, provide regular and substantive feedback, and maintain records.
• Advise students and provide service to the department; workload may include office hours and related duties.
