Job summary

University of Wisconsin - La Crosse seeks to fill an Instructor Pool in Graduate and Extended Learning. The role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses across modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online) with ongoing currency in content, assessing student outcomes, and providing regular feedback.

Departments may review applications and schedule interviews as needs arise. Qualified candidates will typically hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field, with progress toward a doctorate

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department or significant progress toward a doctorate.
• Depending on the program, specific certification/licensure or clinical experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations.
