Job summary

University of Wisconsin–La Crosse is maintaining an ongoing instructor pool for the Economics department to support flexible course needs across undergraduate and graduate programs. Instructors will teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online sections, design curriculum, assess student learning, and provide timely feedback.

The role includes student advising and department service as needed, under department chair supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Economics or related field.
• Significant progress toward a doctorate degree.
• Post-baccalaureate certification or licensure may be considered in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Serves as initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.
