Job summary

Virtua Health in Berlin, NJ seeks a part-time Per Diem educator to develop and deliver the Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician curriculum. You will observe practice, give feedback, and guide students toward skill mastery, ensuring alignment with curriculum and standards.

Location: Berlin - 100 Townsend Ave Remote Type: On-Site Employment Type: Employee Employment Classification: Per Diem Time Type: Part time Work Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America) Total Weekly Hours: 0 Additional Locations: Job Information: Monday through Thursday 7-hour shifts Each cohort will run for 12-16 weeks Training/Educating experience and successful completion of a curriculum and instruction course offered through an accredited college required.

Job Summary: Provides core content instruction and education to students based on the curriculum in compliance with local, state, and national education standards. Works with the Coordinator and others to maximize academic achievement, retention, certification, graduation and placement outcomes. Works collaboratively to plan and implement clinical learning experiences.

Position Responsibilities Develop and deliver dynamic, effective, and engaging education according to the specified Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician curriculum required. Observes actions during practice, provides positive or corrective feedback, and guide toward the acquisition of skills. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure mastery of the curriculum. Tests for competency and provides remediation as necessary. Creates learning support tools to support students based on demonstrated needs. Grade course activities and post weekly and final grades by the predetermined deadline. Assists in the evaluation of existing materials and programs with the goal of providing the highest quality programs for Virtua Health.

Position Qualifications Required: Required Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician with experience in training/educating Required Education: High School Graduate required, Associate's degree preferred Training / Certification / Licensure: Licensure, certification and required continuing education as a Certified Medical Assistant or a Certified Patient Care Technician. Proof of successful completion of a curriculum and instruction course offered through an accredited college

Hourly Rate: $21.85 - $32.83 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
