Job summary

Central Valley Training Center is seeking an Instructor II to provide quality instruction and supervision for adults with intellectual disabilities. The role implements the company’s positive behavioral program, follows agency policies, and ensures compliance with conduct rules.

Responsibilities include direct instruction, supervision, data collection, and collaboration with the team to meet individualized goals. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Qualifications

• Clear and timely communication with others.
• Follow written and verbal directions.
• Present information effectively, accurately and thoroughly.
• Listen and respond to questions from manager, participants, and outside organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual and group instruction to participants.
• Supervise participants and implement age-appropriate training activities.
• Maintain a safe environment and apply positive behavior support.
• Complete program paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Develop objectives and plans aligned with participant goals.
• Communicate with co-workers and external professionals as needed.
• Plan and document outings, activities, and meetings.
• Complete required in-service training to maintain certification.
