Job summary

Central Valley Training Center Inc. is seeking an Instructor II to deliver high-quality instruction to adults with intellectual disabilities. The role requires implementing the company’s positive behavioral program, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a safe, structured environment.

You will provide direct instruction, supervise participants, and complete detailed program documentation while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. In-person work in California with some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience with adults with intellectual disabilities desirable.
• CPR and First Aid Certification; Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training; Positive Behavior Support Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual and group instruction to participants according to abilities and goals.
• Maintain a non-aversive, safe environment and apply crisis techniques as needed.
• Complete program paperwork accurately and develop objectives with plans aligned to goals.
• Assist with assessments, lesson plans, and maintain timely communication with the team.
• Travel locally up to 30% and participate in required in-service training.
