Job summary

Central Valley Training Center in Fresno, CA is seeking an Instructor Floater (Part-Time) to provide quality instruction and supervision for adults with intellectual disabilities. You will cover rest breaks, meals, and other direct service across multiple teams with a strong emphasis on positive behavior support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; experience with adults with intellectual disabilities is desirable.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training, Social Effectiveness Training, Positive Behavior Support Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide group coverage for rest breaks, meals, and other direct service.
• Provide direct individual and group instruction to participants in accordance with abilities and goals.
• Provide supervision of participants and maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Maintain documentation and program paperwork accurately.
• Initiate communication and teamwork with coworkers and external partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
