Job summary

YMCA of Metro Denver is seeking a Part-Time Swim Instructor to lead engaging swim lessons for children and adults, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities include enforcing pool safety, communicating with families, and maintaining attendance records. Training is provided; CPR/AED and First Aid must be completed within 30 days of hire, Listen First within 6 months, and a flexible schedule supports students and second jobs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Certified Swim Instructor preferred with CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Listen First within 6 months of hire; ongoing safety training.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead swim lessons for children and adults at all skill levels.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
• Enforce pool rules and ensure participant safety at all times.
• Communicate with participants/parents about schedules and any changes.

The individual will be responsible for providing a safe swim instruction for participants.
