Job summary

State of Vermont in Montpelier seeks an Implementation Lead for Instructional Systems to guide statewide adoption of HQIM, evidence-based instruction, and learning standards. You will partner with district leaders to strengthen curriculum implementation, coaching, and professional learning, aligning statewide priorities with local practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education, organizational development, business or public administration, continuous improvement, or related field
• Four (4) years or more of experience in change management or organizational development that includes experience in the basic concepts of process improvement, strategic planning, organizational redesign, change management, and performance analysis.
• Eight (8) years or more of experience in change management or organizational development that includes experience in the basic concepts of process improvement, strategic planning, organizational redesign, change management, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Agency's statewide implementation & district support team.
• Deliver integrated academic, operational, & organizational support through a coordinated cross-functional model.
• Differentiate TA based on AOE content experts to ensure consistent guidance & implementation support.
• Lead Quality & Improvement Reviews; manage the Early Warning Indicator System.
• Facilitate implementation planning, coaching, and CI.
• Translate statewide priorities into effective local implementation.
• Coordinate AOE expertise to reduce fragmentation & strengthen district capacity.
• Monitor implementation progress/recommend targeted interventions to improve district/school performance.
• Strengthen Vermont's statewide capacity for education transformation & continuous quality improvement by building sustainable systems that improve instructional quality, organizational excellence, and student outcomes.
