Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Pennsylvania seeks Direct Support Professionals to support children, adolescents, and young adults with IDD and BH/MH diagnoses. This PRN, part-time role offers on-call shifts and a starting pay of $19.50–$19.75 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential from 2:00pm–11:00pm, and a sign-on bonus paid over six months.

Qualifications

• High-school Diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• Education evaluation required if education was acquired outside the U.S.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior experience with children in behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety: Supervise and maintain the well-being of the individuals in your care.
• Engage and connect: Participate in daily ADLs, recreational, and social activities to encourage growth, confidence, and independence.
• Coach and redirect: Address and redirect inappropriate behaviors with supportive communication.
• Support progress: Implement individualized treatment plan goals and objectives while working with the clinical team.

Skills
