Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health's Brandywine School in West Chester, PA, is seeking a Special Education Teacher to deliver inclusive instruction in small classes and support students with IEP goals.

You'll collaborate on a multi-disciplinary team, implement IEPs, track progress, and reinforce PBIS, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8am–4pm, 41 weeks per school year and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and an active PA Special Education Instructional I or II certification, or eligible for Pennsylvania certification.
• Emergency Certification available.
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all students.
• Deliver education lessons in a small classroom setting.
• Implement IEPs and track education goals.
• Support and reinforce PBIS goals and objectives.
