Qualifications

• Meets Georgia certification requirements in appropriate field of education.
• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field of education from PSC approved college/university.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan learning experiences based on the district AKS curriculum and provide a conducive learning environment.
• Demonstrate command of the taught subject and develop instructional objectives.
• Plan instruction to promote mastery of prerequisite skills and knowledge.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Organize content and present in a logical sequence with effective lesson structures.
• Utilize technology to plan, teach, and assess student learning.
• Provide formative and summative assessments and maintain records.
• Maintain an orderly classroom and establish positive student-teacher relationships.
