• Demonstrate command of the subject being taught.
• Develop and prioritize short- and long-term instructional objectives aligned to the AKS.
• Identify prerequisite skills and knowledge needed for AKS mastery.
• Prepare written lesson plans supporting AKS objectives for all students.
• Plan appropriate assessment of student learning.
