Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to students under the supervision of the special education teacher/case manager.
• Assist in implementing individualized instructional and behavioral programs as outlined in a student’s IEP.
• Support teachers with modifications, accommodations, and behavior plans.
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and school grounds; assist with loading/unloading of students as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with staff; participate in required professional development.
