Job summary

Brookwood School District 167 is seeking an Instructional Learning Coach for grades 5-8 to collaborate with classroom teachers to enhance student learning. The role provides direct classroom support and expands teachers’ use of research-based, effective instruction.

The coach will help align ELA and Math instruction with standards, utilize current curriculum materials, and integrate technology and assessment programs to improve outcomes district-wide.

Qualifications

• Understanding of and experience with research-based instructional practices.
• Extensive knowledge of the ELA and Math common core standards and the instructional shifts.
• Knowledge of current curriculum materials and technology.
• Working knowledge of computer-based instructional and assessment programs including NWEA, Math 180, Read 180, System 44, and iRead.
• Current Illinois State Teacher License-Reading/Math endorsements preferred.
