Job summary

The Illinois Education Job Bank is seeking an Instructional Learning Coach to collaborate with elementary teachers to enhance student learning through evidence-based instruction and direct classroom support.

The coach will improve teachers' understanding of research-based strategies, align with current ELA and Math standards, and integrate curriculum materials and technology, including NWEA, Math 180, Read 180, System 44 and iRead, to drive classroom improvement.

Qualifications

• Understanding of research-based instructional practices.
• Extensive knowledge of ELA and Math CCSS and instructional shifts.
• Knowledge of current curriculum materials and technology.
• Working knowledge of computer-based instructional and assessment programs (NWEA, Math 180, Read 180, System 44, iRead).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student learning.
• Provide direct classroom support to expand the teacher's understanding of effective instruction.
