IDEA Public Schools seeks an Assistant Principal of Instruction to lead instructional staff, coach teachers on curriculum and instruction, and drive ambitious student outcomes toward college readiness.

You will monitor progress, support teachers, and collaborate with families to ensure all scholars stay on track for college success. IDEA offers strong benefits and a path for professional growth within a high-growth charter network.

Competenze

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Experience: At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience
• Teacher leadership or administrative experience required
• Proven track record of achieving success in the K-12 setting
• Experience managing/coaching others preferred

Mansioni

• Lead instructional staff to achieve measurable and ambitious results
• Coach teachers on curriculum and instruction through daily observations and coaching
• Oversee TEKS-based curricula and assessments to meet high expectations
• Review lesson plans and provide actionable feedback
• Synthesize and prioritize data to develop strategies for quantifiable goals
• Communicate student progress with families and establish trust-based relationships
• Oversee campus tutoring sessions and participate in weekly manager check-ins
• Spend 40+ hours at school per week and support after-school duties
