Montgomery College is seeking two full-time Philosophy faculty members for Germantown and Rockville campuses, starting Spring 2027. Duties include teaching a range of Philosophy courses across modalities, advising, and committee work.
The positions are part of a collective bargaining unit. Qualified applicants will have a Master’s in Philosophy, LMS proficiency, and experience teaching diverse student populations.

We are seekingenthusiastic and dedicated teachers who exhibit a high degree ofprofessionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and theability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner. The facultymembers will have the opportunity to teach a range of Philosophyclasses. This position is part of a collective bargainingunit.
The successful candidate will appreciate teaching in amulti-cultural environment and will welcome the opportunity to workwith students with diverse learning abilities. Faculty dutiesinclude classroom, laboratory and clinical instruction, assessment,curriculum development, advising, professional inquiry, committeework, and utilizing instructional technology.
Teaching assignments may include various delivery modes, such asface-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats during days,evenings, and weekends. Montgomery College has multiple campuses,and faculty may be assigned to teach in-person at any of thesecampuses and teach online.
