Montgomery College seeks two full-time Philosophy faculty members, one at the Germantown Campus and one at the Rockville Campus, to begin Spring 2027. We seek enthusiastic teachers who can engage diverse students and motivate learning in a range of Philosophy courses.
Duties include classroom, online, hybrid instruction, advising, curriculum development, and committee work. Faculty may teach at multiple campuses, including evenings or weekends, and across several delivery formats.
Montgomery College is seeking two full-time Philosophy faculty members. One position will be based out of the Germantown Campus. One position will be based out of the Rockville Campus. Both positions will start in Spring 2027. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who exhibit a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner. The faculty members will have the opportunity to teach a range of Philosophy classes. This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
The successful candidate will appreciate teaching in a multi-cultural environment and will welcome the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning abilities. Faculty duties include classroom, laboratory and clinical instruction, assessment, curriculum development, advising, professional inquiry, committee work, and utilizing instructional technology.
Teaching assignments may include various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats during days, evenings, and weekends. Montgomery College has multiple campuses, and faculty may be assigned to teach in-person at any of these campuses and teach online.

Hiring Range: $64,510 - $98,220 annually.
