Savvas Learning Company is seeking an Instructional Designer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of online courses. You will manage a team of content creators (vendors), collaborate with university partners, and ensure high-quality curriculum aligned with outcomes.

You will interface with university staff, instructors, and cross-functional teams to drive course design, assessment strategies, and content delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, communications, or related field.
• 3+ years of instructional design and development experience, preferably in education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage multiple projects.
• Eye for detail; translate ideas into tangible outputs.
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and management tools.
• Knowledge of development processes to build digital products and lead implementation.
• Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Flexible and adaptable.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain new courses including curriculum, outcomes, assignments, activities, aesthetics, and platform needs.
• Analyze assessment results and student outcomes to inform improvements.
• Research best practices for online learning and existing curricula to inform design.
• Coordinate with instructors and content creators (vendors) for college-level curriculum and assessments.
• Contribute to script writing, filming, and post-production edits for lectures.
• Proofread and edit course materials for accuracy and clarity.
• Organize assets and content files; maintain a content storage system.
• Resolve content-related Zendesk tickets.
• Master CMS and web backend systems.
• Continuously improve student experience and learning quality.
• Design teacher-facing materials for dual enrollment; adjust for high school learners.
• Plan and manage project schedules; work with external partners.
