Job summary

The Research Foundation of the City University of New York (RFCUNY) seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to join the Learning and Development PMO at the ACS Workforce Institute in New York City. You will translate complex material into engaging ILT and VILT experiences for adult learners.

Reporting to the Senior Instructional Designer, you will design objectives, materials, and assessments, while collaborating with SMEs, product owners, and project managers to ensure quality and timely

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, educational technology, learning and development, or a related field with at least three years of experience.
Experience applying adult learning principles and measurable objectives.
Experience creating instructional design documents, outlines, storyboards, and facilitator guides.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Design and develop ILT and VILT training programs based on adult learning principles.
Translate complex subject matter into clear, practical learning experiences.
Create course outlines, storyboards, and facilitator guides.
Develop high‑quality learning materials and assessments.
Collaborate with PMO, SMEs, and product owners to meet project needs.
