Job summary

RFCUNY is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join the Learning and Development PMO at the ACS Workforce Institute. You will design and develop ILT and VILT programs, translate SME content, and create comprehensive design deliverables for adult learners.

You will collaborate with PMO, product owners, SMEs, and other team members to analyze needs, write objectives, and ensure accessible, outcomes-driven learning experiences that improve workforce practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, educational technology, learning and development, or related field with at least three years designing adult learning programs.
• Experience translating complex information into engaging instructional content for ILT and VILT.
• Ability to define measurable learning objectives and align activities and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ILT and VILT training grounded in adult learning principles.
• Translate SME content into clear, accessible learning experiences for professionals.
• Create instructional design documents, outlines, storyboards, and delivery materials.
