Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking an Instructional Designer II to join the UCATT team in Tucson. This role partners with faculty to design online courses, ensure accessibility, and implement instructional technology to promote student success.

The position offers hybrid work arrangements with some on-site duties at the Tucson campus and a focus on continuous improvement of online learning environments. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience with learning management systems.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, video editing, or graphic design.

Responsibilities

• Partner with faculty to design engaging online learning experiences and ensure accessibility.
• Collaborate with faculty on interactive, instructionally sound materials addressing diverse contexts.
• Update and revise fully online courses with feedback from reviews.
• Incorporate instructional technology to enhance communication and collaboration.
• Guide video and interactive learning objects development and training in course design.
