The role guides best practices on instructional design, emerging educational technologies, and adult learning principles while championing course quality and ADA compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience.
• Masters in Curricular Design or related preferred.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (Canvas) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors and SMEs to design and develop online, blended, and web-enhanced courses.
• Consults and supports faculty with instructional design.
• Leads and oversees course design and development projects.
• Administers and maintains online development courses/resources.
• Plans and coordinates materials with course instructors, instructional design team, IT, and multimedia team.
• Identifies and recommends instructional strategies, technologies, and applications.
• Plans, develops, and delivers faculty training on instructional strategies and course design.
• Researches emerging instructional design innovations and trends.
• Reviews course modules for accessibility and ADA compliance; suggests improvements.
