Job summary

Inhabit is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop learning solutions supporting client onboarding and performance improvement. You will design materials for instructor-led, virtual, and blended formats, collaborating with subject matter experts to translate complex information into engaging experiences.

Responsibilities include creating design documents, storyboards, facilitator guides, and assessments while applying adult learning principles and measuring impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
• 3+ years of instructional design, eLearning development, or corporate training
• Experience designing instructor led, virtual, and blended learning solutions
• Experience creating training for software products or SaaS platforms
• Knowledge of LMS and learning analytics platforms
• Proficiency with authoring tools including Articulate Storyline/Rise

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to analyze business needs and define learning objectives
• Participate in discovery sessions and needs assessments to determine learning solutions
• Design and develop materials for instructor led, virtual, eLearning and blended programs
• Create design documents, storyboards, prototypes, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and assessments
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex information into engaging learning experiences
• Apply adult learning principles and performance improvement strategies
• Develop templates, standards, and style guides to ensure consistency
• Design curricula and learning pathways for onboarding and product adoption
• Utilize tools to create interactive, engaging learning experiences
• Keep content current with product releases and process changes
• Implement evaluation strategies to measure effectiveness and business impact
• Analyze learner feedback to identify improvements and optimization
• Support pilot programs and train-the-trainer initiatives
• Provide project planning input including timelines and resource estimates
• Maintain high quality standards and on-time delivery
