Job summary

Habit Burger Grill is seeking an Instructional Designer to create, maintain, and improve training and performance support materials. Based in Irvine, CA, the role focuses on online and blended learning, reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development with some local travel.

Responsibilities include needs assessments, design and development of engaging training, and evaluation of outcomes. Requires a BA/BS and 3+ years in instructional design, plus Storyline and Rise proficiency.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Communications, English, Business, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of instructional design experience.
• Proficient in eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise).
• Experience in video creation and editing.
• E-learning portfolio required when submitting application.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: manages multiple projects, meets deadlines, aligns with business needs.
• Design & Development: creates engaging learning materials using authoring tools and multimedia.
• Collaboration: works with cross-functional teams and SMEs to deliver effective programs.
• Evaluation: assesses training effectiveness and implements improvements.
• Video: plans, shoots, and edits instructional videos.
