Job summary

The Habit Burger Grill is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create, maintain, and continuously improve training materials for a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role focuses on online and blended learning delivery and reports to the Manager, Learning and Development, based in Irvine, CA with some local travel.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in instructional design, proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Rise, and video editing skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Instructional Design or related field.
• 3+ years of instructional design experience.
• Proficient in eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise).
• Experience in video creation and editing.
• E-learning portfolio required when submitting application.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Identify training needs and ensure training is accurate and accessible.
• Design and develop engaging learning materials using eLearning tools.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Plan, shoot, and edit simple instructional videos.
• Collaborate with Operations and SMEs to create effective solutions.
