Job description

Compri Consulting is hiring Instructional Designers for a 5-month contract opportunity with our client located in Denver, CO. Fully Remote.

Position: Senior Instructional Designer (ID)

The Sr. Instructional Designer (ID) is a key role within the IT Learning & Development team. The Sr. Designer works collaboratively with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), key stakeholders, program owners, and other learning professionals to design and develop innovative learning solutions that leverage a combination of learning modalities to maximize the learner experience, learning effectiveness, and business impact.

The Sr. ID leverages instructional design techniques to author in-person, virtual, and eLearning content. This position uses their expertise to create original content and provides consultation on adult learning best practices. Additionally, the Sr. ID mentors junior designers in content design and development.

Requirements
  1. 6-8 years of experience
  2. Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and/or progressively responsible work experience in a related area (may be substituted on a year-for-year basis)
  3. Experience developing Pendo learning assets in a specific application
  4. Advanced proficiency with eLearning and/or video development software (e.g., Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate 360)
  5. Advanced proficiency with graphic design, animation, and/or audio recording tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Audacity, Audition)
  6. Instructional design including eLearning design and development, needs assessment, stakeholder collaboration
  7. Demonstrated experience using adult learning theories and methodologies
  8. Solid project management skills, including planning and multitasking
  9. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  10. Pendo experience in developing learning assets
  11. Experience working on virtual teams
Education & Certifications
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
  • Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD)
  • ATD Master Instructional Designer
