fpSOLUTIONS, the learning and professional development division of Fisher Phillips LLP, seeks an innovative Instructional Designer to design and deliver scenario-based learning for compliance, data privacy and workplace safety using Articulate Storyline, Rise, Absorb Create and Synthesia AI.

You will identify needs, translate regulations into practical learning strategies and collaborate with attorneys and SMEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• 4 years of experience designing corporate learning solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ADDIE/SAM and learning design practices.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline/Rise and ILT/VILT/video-based learning.
• Publish to LMS with SCORM/xAPI and manage content.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging scenario-based e-learning modules for compliance, data privacy, and workplace safety.
• Translate requirements with attorneys/SMEs into learner-centered experiences.
• Create multimedia elements and interactive activities aligned to objectives.

Position Summary

We are seeking an innovative and business focused Instructional Designer to design and deliver purposeful engaging and scenario based learning solutions for compliance data privacy and workplace safety training This role blends strong instructional design fundamentals with modern digital toolsincluding Articulate Storyline Articulate Rise Absorb Create and Synthesia AIto create impactful scenario based learning experiences The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands on able to identify performance and learning needs and translate business and regulatory requirements into practical engaging learning strategies using iterative design and development practices multimedia development and emerging AI technologies You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts attorneys and cross functional stakeholders to build scalable future ready learning solutions

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging accessible and scenario based e learning modules for compliance data privacy and workplace safety training using Articulate Storyline Articulate Rise Absorb Create Synthesia AI and related authoring toolsPartner with attorneys and SMEs to translate compliance requirements into clear learning strategies and practical learner centered experiencesConduct training needs analyses and recommend appropriate learning interventions based on identified performance needsDevelop action maps task analyses design strategies content outlines scripts storyboards and assessmentsCreate multimedia elements including video AI generated content simulations animations and interactive activities when they support the learning objectives and learner experienceManage stakeholder review cycles and incorporate attorney SME client and internal feedback throughout developmentConduct functional accessibility and quality assurance testing to ensure learning solutions work as intended before publicationPublish courses in SCORMAICCxAPI formats and deploy content within LMS platformsEnsure alignment with corporate branding accessibility standards and adult learning best practicesEvaluate training effectiveness using data and learner feedback; recommend iterative improvementsMaintain and update learning content to reflect business regulatory or process changesSupport ILTVILT programs learning pathways and blended learning solutionsCreate supporting visual and learning assets including thumbnail images certificates of completion presentation templates workbooks job aids and other resources that enhance the overall learning experience

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent professional experience required4 years of experience designing corporate learning solutionsStrong knowledge of instructional design approaches and practices such as ADDIE SAM or other iterative design models action mapping and task analysisExperience creating design documentation including design strategies outlines scripts and storyboardsHands on experience with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise required; additional proficiency in other eLearning authoring tools eg Absorb Create Vyond a plusExperience producing ILT VILT video based and blended learning solutionsWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud sufficient to edit images in Photoshop adjust graphics in Illustrator and perform light video editing in Premiere ProExperience publishing to LMS platforms and managing SCORMxAPI contentExperience working in iterative development environments and managing multiple stakeholder review cyclesStrong collaboration and communication skillsPortfolio demonstrating instructional design process and completed learning solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Synthesia AI strongly preferred; familiarity with other AI tools eg ChatGPT Gemini integrated into learning design and development workflows a plusAbility to write custom code eg HTML CSS JavaScript to build advanced interactions within authoring tools is a plusIn depth knowledge of UX design principles and learning experience optimizationExperience with gamification strategies and interactive learning technologiesFamiliarity with data analytics to evaluate learning effectivenessExperience in compliance HR or other regulated environments

The annual salary range for this position is 70000 90000 Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components including but not limited to location relevant experience internal equity skills qualifications and other job related factors permitted by law
