Job summary

DonorConnect is seeking an experienced Instructional Design Specialist to design, develop, and maintain learning solutions supporting the clinical and operational training needs of DonorConnect.

This role collaborates closely with Learning and Organizational Development (LOD), Quality Services, SMEs, and departmental leadership to translate complex operational processes into engaging and effective learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Education, or related field preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Certification in instructional design, talent development, or adult learning preferred (CPTD, APTD, ATD, or similar). Will obtain certification within first year of employment.
• Completes relevant continuing education courses approved by departmental leadership
• Healthcare or clinical education experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality learning solutions for clinical and operational training
• Collaborate with SMEs, LOD, Quality Services and leadership to translate complex processes into engaging training
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to improve knowledge retention and performance
