Job summary

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking an Instructional Design Intern for Spring 2027 in Indianapolis. The role blends on-site and hybrid work with support for instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning materials. You’ll assist with content creation, LMS tasks, and collaborate on onboarding and curriculum updates.

The position targets students pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree, with emphasis on communication, organization, and a hands-on approach to learning technologies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Interest in learning, training, instructional design, and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning training materials.
• Support eLearning development through content creation, quality testing, video editing, and graphic design.
• Partner with the Learning & Development team on onboarding, skills development, curriculum updates, learning technology projects, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Research, organize, and analyze content to support learning objectives and business needs.
• Assist with LMS administration and reporting as needed.
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide recommendations for learning enhancements.
