Job summary

Utah Transit Authority offers an Instructional Design Intern position that helps build training content, activities, assessments, and job aids across UTA. You will work with instructional designers, trainers, SMEs, and other stakeholders, focusing on workforce development and e-learning.

The role emphasizes applying adult learning principles, maintaining standards, and supporting LMS administration. This on-site internship runs up to 29 hours/week for ~6 months, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Transcript required with two letters of recommendation.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Must have a valid Utah driver's license and a safe driving record (no more than 4 moving violations in 3 years; no DUI in last 10 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide support in curriculum development and instructional design processes.
• Review, develop, design, and revise training courses and materials for Workforce Technical Training.
• Assist in implementing standardized curriculum and training management.
• Create training content, learning activities, and assessments including e-learning.
• Apply adult learning principles to maintain consistent training standards.
