Job summary

Deming Public Schools’ My Little School in Deming, NM seeks a 26-27 SY Teacher On Special Assignment (TOSA) to provide professional leadership, coach teachers, and support instructional improvement under the principal. The role emphasizes classroom observations, feedback, data analysis, curriculum development, and coordination of testing programs.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with Level III Teacher contracts; 210 days.

Qualifications

• Must possess New Mexico Administrative
• Minimum of five (5) years classroom experience.
• Experience working with adult learners.
• Completed or willing to complete the Foundations of Cognitive Coaching or an equivalent coaching program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in providing professional leadership to organize, administer, supervise, and evaluate a creative school program.
• Support teachers’ achievement of goals by using coaching strategies that gradually release responsibility for implementing instructional practices to the teacher.
