Job summary

Luke Elementary in Glendale, AZ invites applications for a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA). The role reports to the Principal and supports day-to-day operations, instructional planning, and program implementation across the campus to enhance student achievement.

Requires a Master’s degree in education (preferred), valid AZ teaching certificate, and principal certification or in progress. Three years of leadership and classroom experience are expected, along with strong communication,

Qualifications

Master’s degree in education preferred.
Valid Arizona teaching certificate required.
Valid Arizona Principal certificate or in progress preferred.
Obtain and maintain AZ IVP FPCC.

Responsibilities

Assists in the day-to-day operations of the school, including events and discipline.
Assists in managing certificated and support staff as assigned.
Supervises the cleanliness and care of the school facility.
Ensures staff compliance with policies, statutes and procedures.
Implements programs or projects as assigned by building administration.
Teaches classes as needed.
Maintains rapport with students, staff, and community.
Maintains confidentiality and ethical behavior.
Other duties as assigned.
