Job summary

Mesa Alta Jr. High in Bloomfield, NM is seeking an Instructional Resource Specialist to support teachers with data-driven instruction and improved student achievement across Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field with data-driven instruction experience.
• Master's degree preferred and NM Level 3 license is required.
• Reading and/or math endorsement preferred or willingness to pursue.
• Endorsements aligned with classroom needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Model and support effective instructional strategies across core subjects.
• Complete regular walkthroughs and provide feedback to improve instruction.
• Coach teachers toward higher licensure levels with a growth mindset.
• Lead professional development and data-driven instructional sessions.
• Gather and interpret data to guide instructional decisions and plans.
• Support PLCs and curriculum development aligned with the 90 Day Plan.
