Job summary

Christian County Public Schools seeks a part-time DW Instructional and Behavior Coach at Pembroke Elementary to support RTI implementation and district improvement goals. You will model effective instructional practices, coach teachers, and monitor progress with data-driven strategies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with school leaders and district personnel to align curriculum, benchmarks, and professional development with the district plan.

Qualifications

• Must meet criminal record check as specified by Kentucky State Law.
• Must meet health requirements as specified in district policy.
• Kentucky teacher certification and Rank II/Master's Degree.
• Minimum of six years successful teaching experience.
• Deep knowledge of reading, writing, literacy development, and/or math.
• Experience with data analysis to plan instruction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate curriculum and benchmark assessment development/refinement work at the district and building levels.
• Assist teachers in developing and implementing formative assessment practices aligned to curriculum maps.
• Provide individualized coaching to support implementation of good instructional practices.
• Assist teachers in aligning teaching with standards, curriculum, and assessments.
• Model and promote RTI interventions through professional development and coaching.
• Collaborate with school leadership to support professional learning communities.
